Xiamen Stone Fair kicks off

The annual Xiamen Stone Fair kicked off last week at the Xiamen International Conference and Exhibition Center. The 191,000-square-meter event featured 24 exhibition halls across eight zones. The fair included 2,000 global brands and attendees from more than 100 countries.

Overseas pre-registration rose 11.7 percent year-on-year, cementing its position as the world's largest professional stone trade fair. First-time exhibitors accounted for 20 percent of participants. International participation expanded further, with 300 exhibitors from dozens of countries. Eight national pavilions spotlighted stone-producing regions including Brazil, Egypt, Greece, Iran, Italy, Portugal and Turkey.

Italy was this year's official guest of honor. Its twin pavilions featured 58 premium brands across 1,846 square meters, offering direct access to Italian quarry owners, manufacturers and equipment suppliers.
